How to find your why.

You might think it is my daughter. And although she is a big part of my why, she isn’t everything to do with it.

It’s not just this my little girl, it’s ME TOO!

I remember a time when I didn’t feel this way, like I loved myself and like I was worth fighting for.

She put so much into perspective for me.

I live for her. But more so I live for myself.

I was brought here by a miracle. A lot of you probably don’t know, but I almost passed away at 10 days old from a heart defect. I lived. And every day on what my mom calls my 2nd birthday we celebrate my life!

I went so long struggling with my purpose and with my reason for being here.

I thought it was dependent on others and how much they liked me. This led to a lot of disappointment in myself and others.

When I opened my heart and eyes to live for ME first, everything shifted. I truly started to enjoy myself and this life I was gifted. I truly started to enjoy others way more too! Because I wasn’t leaning on them for my own happiness. I was leaning on myself for this.

When Annalise was born, yes she gave me more to live for. But she wasn’t the reason I was alive. I think it’s really important to find happiness and love in ourselves over depending on others for it.

My mission is to make us both the most proud I can make us!

To be the most consistent I can be.

And to lead with love for both of us and in life!

But what my WHY is, is ME!

Deep down, I fight for myself first. I fill my cup first. Because if I don’t, I can’t pour for others.

Today I invite you to look inside and ask yourself what is your why, not thinking of others but only thinking of you!

Then go deeper. What is the why beneath any thing on the surface!

Go as deep as you feel called to until the WHY truly aligns and feels like an ahhh haaa moment!

My why is what keeps me going and has truly enabled me to become more consistent than I’ve ever been in my entire life! I love making myself and then my daughter, family and friends proud. But firstly it’s ME!
